Matt Burden
Matt Burden is the CIO at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Prior to joining North Central, Matt has held various technology leadership positions in at Boise Cascade/Office Max, Northwestern University, and the John G. Shedd Aquarium.
Prior to his civilian career, Matt served for 16 years in the US Army in various leadership positions from Team Leader to Battalion Commander. His last assignment was as a Supervisory Intelligence Officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency where he received an award from the Secretary of Defense for developing technologies that modernized intelligence gathering techniques.
Matt has served on the cyber security task force at the Brookings Institution focusing on cyber/foreign relations with China. Matt has also served on the boards of the Center for Research in Information Management, Team Rubicon, and Soldiers’ Angels.
Matt authored “The Blog of War” (Simon & Schuster, 2006) which examined the military impact of social media inside and outside of war zones. "The Blog of War" was the basis for the hit HBO movie “Taking Chance” (2009).
Matt has a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and an MBA (Strategy) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Eric Dominguez
Eric Dominguez, Director of IT Engineering at ServerCentral. Eric has spent his entire career in IT infrastructure. He has excelled across a wide range of industry roles, from technical support and sales engineering to physical plant data center operations and vendor management. His unique ability to communicate complex technical details to engineers and businesspeople alike sets him apart and allows him to cross-function across all aspects of data center, network, managed and cloud services. Eric is quick with a joke and will take any opportunity to entertain, educate, and enlighten.
Mitch Greenwald
Mitch Greenwald has been an active participant in the “growing up” of technology - programming mini-computers early in his career that transitioned to PC applications (while they were still in their infancy), to client/server systems, then to web-based environments including infrastructure and security, and today to the cloud. Mitch has a diverse background from writing code, to managing and sponsoring multi-million dollar projects. His balanced perspective includes product development, operations, consulting, as well as executive leadership, which allows him to relate to many clients. He is passionate about applying technology to increase the value businesses.
Krysia Jacobs
Krysia Jacobs is a senior enterprise architect at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). She specializes in enterprise application integration, configuration management and service management.

Previously, Krysia was an IT strategy consultant in the area of enterprise architecture, service management and IT governance, Chief Technology Officer at Verety, LLC , and Vice President of Infrastructure at the Chicago Stock Exchange. Her experience includes high availability infrastructure and applications, security and regulatory compliance, business intelligence, business continuity and business/IT alignment.

Krysia began her IT career as a programmer and is well versed in numerous database, software and hardware technologies and development methodologies.
Chris Kabat
Currently, I am the Vice President of Enterprise Platforms & Managed Services at SPR Consulting. In this position I am responsible for overseeing SPR Consulting's Application Integration, Data Management, Portals & Collaboration, Cloud, and Managed Services practices. I am also currently serving as the Cloud practice leader for the company.

I have been an integration architect for many years. I have worked with Microsoft integration technologies since 1995 and have followed it all the way to Microsoft Azure. One of the strengths of our company is the ability to use integration techniques to bridge the gap between on-premises and cloud solutions, creating “hybrid” solutions that many would think are near impossible.

Prior to working with SPR Consulting, I was a founding partner of MPS Partners, a leading Microsoft partner in the Central Region. In January, 2015, MPS Partners was acquired by SPR Consulting.

Fred Kwong

Dr. Fred Kwong has been in the information technology field for the past 15 years in working in education, financial, and telecommunication sectors. Fred currently works at a Farmers Insurance where he currently is the Global Head of Privileged Access Control. Fred is currently building a new program seeking to govern, control, and profile privileged identities throughout the enterprise.
Fred’s work includes the creation of security and privacy policies, standards, and procedures. He is a subject matter expert in PCI, leading organizations to pass their report on compliance. With an extensive background in IT technologies, Fred continues to challenge the status quo by providing guidance in security and network architecture creating holistic designs that align to todays’ threat vector for organizations.
Fred has a passion of combining IT skills with organization development values. His broad range of IT skills has allowed him to view IT from many different paradigms and present them to the business partners in an easy to understand language. Fred servers as an adjunct professor at Benedictine and Roosevelt University teaching courses in international business, organization behavior, project management, and information systems. He holds a Ph.D. from Benedictine University and earned his master’s degree in business administration from Roosevelt University. Fred is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), and a PCI Professional (PCIP).

Russ Legear
Russ Legear is the Access and Identity Management Team Lead for Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the United States. His responsibilities include administering the second largest Google Apps for Education environment in the world, planning and managing the district’s IAM systems and initiatives, and leading a small but highly skilled team of Active Directory and Windows engineers. He is passionate about process improvement and a seamless customer experience at all levels of the CPS organization.

Russ received his BS from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and received his Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Illinois BIS at Urbana-Champaign.  
Scott Oliver
Scott Oliver is a Director of Technology at an international accounting firm. As part of his role, he is responsible for application development, software architecture and infrastructure projects for the international division representing over 130 countries. Scott brings over three decades of professional information technology experience to the table. Throughout his career he has worked as a Database Administrator, System Administrator, Developer, Architect, and Project Manager. Scott has extensive knowledge in system development and delivery. He has familiarity with multiple development platforms and database technologies. He has also implemented several solutions in cloud computing technology ultimately helping companies reduce computing costs and increase durability of the applications he has been responsible for. Scott graduated cum laude from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he has focused on Information Sciences. He is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. Scott is also ITIL V3 Foundations certified.
David Rettig
David Rettig is the Director of Information Technology for the Institute For Study Abroad (IFSA), Butler University. IFSA provides programs for higher education to enable students to study at over 100 universities overseas. They are headquartered in Indianapolis with multiple offices throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Australia. David transformed multiple organizations with a “cloud first” strategy, including higher education, manufacturing, and engineering services. David has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Franklin University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Management and Leadership.
Steve Warshawsky
Mr. Warshawsky has over 25 years of technology-based professional services consulting and management experience. From 1994 to the present, he has led multiple logistics and technology professional services projects in a wide variety of industries. Each of Mr. Warshawsky’s projects has provided significant bottom-line value to the clients.
Mr. Warshawsky received a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola Graduate School of Business, Chicago, Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois, Champaign, Illinois.
