Joe Barnes
Joe Barnes has over 20 years of experience in IT, with the last 10 focusing on privacy and information security. He currently serves as Chief Privacy and Security Officer for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Assistant HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer for the University of Illinois. Joe is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, has an MBA from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Michael Chahino
Dr. Chahino has served as an executive director of network operations and information security at Elgin Community College (ECC) since January 2006. He is also an adjunct faculty member of computer & information systems, economics, business, and management at the college. Prior to working at ECC Dr. Chahino worked in different capacities with National University of Health Sciences, Devry University, the Universal Technical Institute and the United State Department of State. Dr. Chahino possesses a bachelor degree and a master degree in economics from Illinois State University and has a doctorate degree in educational technology from Northern Illinois University.

James Hartley
James, CISSP, has been the Aon Hewitt Chief Information Security Officer position for the last 5 years. He has more than 20 years of information security experience involving security architecture, application security, data loss prevention and regulatory and client compliance. James’s role at Aon Hewitt has allowed him to partner with the largest enterprises to create an industry leading program. He manages Aon Hewitt’s fraud prevention program while leading their cyber security uplift strategy over the last few years. He has a BS from Northern Illinois University with a double major in computer science and management information systems.
Larry Hunka
Larry Hunka is the Chief Information Security Officer at Cadence Health. Cadence Health is focused on delivering exceptional health care to the more than 1.1 million patients in Chicago’s western suburbs. Larry is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Information Security and Technology Risk function, including setting strategic direction and managing operations.
Before joining Cadence Health, Larry served in leadership roles at many prominent Chicago organizations, including: Northern Trust, JPMorgan Chase, Bank One, Heller Financial (later GE Capital), and Nicor Gas. His additional experience as an Information Security consultant afforded him the opportunity to engage Fortune 500 clients, developing custom security programs to meet diverse business requirements.
Larry’s credentials include an undergraduate degree from Bradley University, a Masters degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, CISSP certification, Six Sigma and ITIL foundations.

Juan Lara is the Director of Security Strategy for Imperva, Inc.. During his 8 years at Imperva, he has deployed hundreds of data security solutions to meet the requirements of customers and regulators from every industry. Juan consistently works with the world’s leading organization on emerging threat trends and best practices for data security frameworks. Juan is a frequent speaker for ISSA, OWASP, ISACA, Gartner, IANS and other professional security and audit organizations in the Americas and abroad. Juan has worked in security for over 15 years and holds a B.A. in management for the Interamerican University and is currently working on his MBA at the Isenberg School of Business of the University of Massachusetts. Mike Reinhart is the VP of Product Marketing at Accelops, Inc. where he brings 30+ years experience in the global broadband, communications and SaaS industries, from the world's largest organizations (ATT & SBC) to the early stage start-ups (Covad Communications, MegaPath, OnFiber, and others). Mike's background includes leadership roles in industry leading technology corporations from creating new markets and product categories, to positioning companies for growth through the development and execution of strategic business initiatives and partnerships. Mr. Richard Rushing is the Senior Director of Information Security for Motorola; He has been implementing security solutions for the last twenty years at, Equifax, Siemens Industrial Automations, and GE Capital Information Technology Services, Secure IT, VeriSign, Network Solutions, Air Defense and Motorola.  Richard has participated in several corporate Security Council's setting standards and policies for entire organizations and has been founder of 2 Startup Security companies that were extremely successful and acquired. A much-in-demand speaker on information and wireless security, Richard has presented at many leading security conferences and seminars around the world.

Eric Shulze
Eric has over 10 years of hands-on Security Architecture and Network Infrastructure experience. During his tenure at Trend Micro, he has had the privilege of architecting IT Security Systems for some of the largest organizations in US. He is a Subject Matter Expert in Targeted Breach Detection Systems. He is also well versed in Messaging, Virtualization and Cloud Security. In his current role, Eric helps architect Breach Detection and Integrated Threat Response Systems for Enterprise Level Organizations.

Gib Sorebo
Gib Sorebo is the Chief Cybersecurity Strategist for Leidos where he oversees the development and promotion of cybersecurity solutions for the commercial market. He has been working in the cybersecurity field for more than twenty years where he has delivered consulting and integration services to a wide array of industry verticals, particularly in the federal, financial services, healthcare, and energy sectors. He recently co-authored a book on Smart Grid Security and regularly publishes articles on a wide variety of cybersecurity topics. He is a frequent speaker at national cybersecurity conferences. Prior to joining Leidos in 2004, he performed a variety of consulting, systems administration, and integration roles for Unisys, the US House of Representatives, and the US Senate. Mr. Sorebo holds a law degree from Catholic University, a Master's Degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
